1- How much does newborn photography cost in Sydney?

Newborn photography packages start from $540 and include a 2-hour in-home session, natural lifestyle posing, and 10 professionally edited high-resolution images delivered via a

2- Do you travel to my home for newborn sessions?

Yes — absolutely. All newborn sessions take place in your home, never in a studio. I travel
to families across North Shore Sydney, the Hills District, and the Inner West. Being in your own space means your baby settles more easily and the photos reflect your real life
together. If you’re outside these areas, get in touch and I’ll let you know if I can accommodate your location.

3- When should I book a newborn photographer?

I recommend booking during your second trimester — ideally between 20 and 30 weeks pregnant. Newborn sessions are scheduled tentatively around your due date and then
confirmed once baby arrives. The ideal window for newborn photography is 5 to 14 days after birth, when babies are sleepiest and most curled up. Popular dates fill quickly, so early booking ensures you get your preferred time.

4- Do you use props or posed positions for newborn photography?

My sessions are gentle and completely baby-led. I use a bean bag as a safe, comfortable base and guide your newborn into soft, natural positions — nothing forced, nothing uncomfortable. Most of the session we simply follow baby's cues: photographing them in your arms, tucked beside a sibling, or in the quiet morning light of your living room. The result is images that feel like warm, real memories rather than a styled catalogue shoot.

5- How long does it take to get our photos delivered?

Usually up to two weeks will be delivered all your photos on an online galley to see and then another two weeks for final editing.

6- Where do outdoor family sessions take place?

I photograph outdoor sessions across Sydney in locations that suit your family’s style —bush reserves, beaches, parklands, and golden-hour fields. I work regularly across the North
Shore, Hills District, and Inner West, and can recommend beautiful locations close to your home. During our discovery call we’ll find the perfect spot for your session.

7- What do you recommend we wear to our session?

I recommend relaxed, neutral-toned outfits — think whites, creams, earthy tones, and soft pastels. Avoid large logos, busy patterns, or very bright colours that can distract from faces
and connection. For maternity sessions, I have a beautiful client wardrobe of flowing dresses
available to borrow at no extra cost — just let me know your size when you book.

8- Do you offer maternity photography as a standalone session?

Yes! Maternity sessions are available as a standalone booking or combined with your newborn session at a discounted package rate. Outdoor maternity sessions are photographed at golden hour for the
most beautiful natural light. I photograph maternity portraits solo, with a partner, and with
